Where:

There are two maps the first telling you the route from admiralty to Bowen road and the second using transport such as a taxi the fastest route. For walking you use Queen’s Rd E and Bowen Rd Fitness Trail route. For transport such as taxi use the route for fastest route use cotton tree drive.

 

Recount:

On Thursday, our class took a walk down Bowen Road. There are many tree's and flowers, plus many people go there to jog, take a stroll and walk their dogs. It is quiet and peaceful. Bowen Road is a very good place to get healthy and fit. It is pretty closed off to traffic and there isn't many cars going down the road, the views along the way are beautiful. The road is quite flat and easy to run on, it is 4km long and very wide.

 

Review:

But some of the things that people should keep an eye on is the safety.  Dog owners should be aware of dog poisoning and make sure they keep an eye on their dogs when walking them down the trail because it is a life threatening situation. There have also been some cases of landslides in the area. Fortunately, workers have delt with it putting down cement on the mountains covering them up to prevent them from happening especially on wet days.

 

On Bowen road there is also a very nice area where you can play tennis. Furthurmore, there is a place for you to rest and maybe even stretch before you run and there are multiple playgrounds along the road if you have kids. At 2nd pagoda there is a really nice place for resting as it is tranquil, most of the frequent visitors are elderly that go there to practice Tai Chi. We rate this trail a 5 out of 6 because the fitness activities were very good for your health and it is a place where you can reflect and be somewhere quiet. However, everyone should be aware for their own safety and the safety of others.
